Why the facility round is written while walking and not from behind a desk.

A round is the sentence facility writes with their boots on the floor. Plant, rooms in use, what failed yesterday, what must be ready.
A round that only says the building looks fine is walked again. The paper is harder on itself than on the reader.
Facility opens no hospitality note on behalf of the building. The ground floor runs its own paper.
