Two collars, two columns

Why the local brief is a two-column paper and not a single list under one word.

Blue collar and white collar do not share a brief. The sites are different, the certificates are different, the shifts are different.

A brief that strips those lines out of the paper is a brief in search of a fiction.

This page does not publish live vacancies. A reader cannot apply from this paper. The brief lives with the supervisor who filed it.
