Same shape, different work
Every floor writes the shift close on the same four lines, with the work inside those lines different per floor.
The close is the paper that makes the compound run as one building.
Where notes about seats go
A note about a seat in the company does not go into the shift close.
It goes to the people editor on the masthead instead.
